Our Story

Nonni K is the pen name for Kerrilee Burkhardt, wife, mother, and Noni to her precious grandchildren.  

Kerrilee is the author of "The 3:16 Journey: A discovery of Love", And "The Adventures of Leapsneak - The Charlie Files."

Nonni K is a Christian author who brings faith and imagination together through beautifully illustrated children's books. With a gift for storytelling and a heart for young readers, Nonni K creates vibrant worlds filled with memorable characters who embark on meaningful adventures.

Each of Nonni's stories weaves timeless moral lessons into engaging narratives that captivate children while gently guiding them toward important values. Her characters face challenges with courage, make difficult choices with wisdom, and discover the power of faith, kindness, and integrity along the way.

Kerrilee lives in the beautiful region of the Fraser Coast in Queensland, Australia with her husband and their beautiful furbabies, Tokyo and Jolly, the real life inspiration for Needy and Gently.

Our Mission

We're driven (by God) to provide a platform of story books for children which not only impart God's wisdom but the moral messages as well.

Our books are written with our next generation in mind with colourful characters, real life lessons and interactions.

Complimented with a 'Read Along' video on our You Tube Channel, you and your loved ones can read along with your copy of the book.

We have seen inroads into Kindys, Day care centres and Churches all wanting more of the clean well written books which teach our kids real life lessons and morals via story telling.

More Than Just Books
