What We Believe
We believe that the stories children read shape who they become. That's why every Nonni K book is thoughtfully crafted to plant seeds of faith, character, and wisdom in young minds. Through colourful illustrations and captivating narratives, we create worlds where moral choices matter, where courage is rewarded, and where God's love shines through every adventure.
Our Books
Nonni K Books are beautifully illustrated children's stories featuring unforgettable characters who face real challenges and make meaningful choices. Each book takes young readers on a moral adventure where they'll discover important values like:
- Faith and trust in God
- Kindness and compassion
- Courage in difficult situations
- Integrity and honesty
- Friendship and love
- Perseverance and hope
Our lead characters Needy McCreedy, a little white poodle who is full of mischief, who sees the world as a wonderful adventure, and finds himself in need many, many times; and Gently McBently, a large black golden doodle who is steadfast, kind, loyal and the one you want in your corner when things go wrong. These two main characters of the Adventures of Needy McCreedy and Gently McBently Series are meant to represent us and Christ. We are all too often getting ourselves into trouble, just by being human. Jesus is steadfast and patient with our shortcomings and loves us through all our journeys. He is the one who picks us up when we fall, guides us in the way we should go and loves us unconditionally.
Every story opens and closes with - I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14
At Nonni K Books we want children to know that they are loved just the way they are. They don't need to change to suit the world.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matt 19:14
I am passionate about the future for our children. It breaks my heart to see what our kids today are being exposed to and I am just trying to do my little part to let our children know that they are loved and valued just the way they are.
“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matt 18:6
